General :
This kind of product is indoor equipment with three-phase AC of 50HZ and rated voltage of 12KV, can be used to protect and operate the apparatuses in the industrial and mining enterprises, power plants and substations, especially in the workplaces that require no oil, little maintenance and long service life. VT2-12 can be equipped in the fixed type switchgears, two-layer switchgears and mid-mounted ones.

VT2 vacuum circuit breaker is fitted with middle-sealed ceramic vacuum arc-chutes. Its contact is made of a material with low closure value and its structure is a horizontal magnetic field in ring. The characteristics of the VT12 are as follows: large capacity of breaking current, higher insulation level, strong nature of arc extinguishing, and long electric service life.

VT2 consists of an operative mechanism in the front and an arc-chute at the back. Its main conducting return circuit is three-phase floor type. The vacuum arc-chute is inserted into the insulating sleeve like a tube. Its function cannot be influenced by outside environment, such as heat, humidity and pollution. Its operative mechanism is a kind of torsional spring operated by two ways that is manual energy storage and motor energy storage.
