Details: The Jocastro Range of Transformers have been engineered to the highest level of quality which incorporate Modern, effective Design Packages that have been calculated to be user friendly & safe for both the operator and surrounding persons. Jocastro has the capacity to manufacture Transformers from 25KVA up to 2500KVA from 1000V to 22 000V.
By incorporating modern Machinery, computer design & 3d modeling programs Jocastro has engineered Transformers with ascetic appeals that are reliable and fully weatherproof to IP 54 for Coastal & Inland applications to ensure long service life and minimum Maintenance in these extreme conditions.

Jocastro has the most advanced transformer foil and wire winding machine in South Africa, incorporating computerized technology with modern mechanics to manufacture the best quality transformers on the market.
The Broomfield 600 is fully automated with sensors to guide the foil and wire accurately as well as computerized cold weld process (up to 7 pins), shearing, brushing, traverses and Mandrills.
This machine is capable of winding from 200KVA to 2500KVA with both speed and accuracy to improve productivity and overall quality.
The Standard off load tapping range for Jocastro transformers is 95 , 97.5 , 100 , 102.5 and 105% however different tapping ranges are available should the customer require them.
The standard connection groups are Dyn 11 or Yyn 0, throughout the whole transformer range. Alternatively Groups Dyn1, Dyn5,, Dyn7 and Yyn6 are also available on request.
The Broom field 600’s advanced design allows operator simplicity through its series of pneumatics and Hydraulics that have been incorporated throughout the machine.
This technology along with the accuracy of the computer software minimalises the human error factor involved in every day manufacturing.
In addition to this the machine has been incorporated with the world renowned MP4 console, this console brings a whole new dimension to transformer design and manufacture through modern technology.
